Bitcoin, Blockchain, criptomonedas, FIAT, DeFi, NFTs y demás. Palabras y siglas que parecen más términos mágicos que el posible futuro de la economía. Pues bien, he decidido escribir este articulo para aquellos que están interesados pero no saben ni por donde empezar. …

Let me tell you a little story of what happened in my town many moons ago. It is a strange and tragic story that I still can’t believe at times.

Her name was Felicity, she was the prettiest woman you could ever imagine. Her hair was red like autumn; her face full of beautiful freckles that made her skin a starry night, and she always wore a smile, that made the little dimples on her face dig deep on her cheeks. Her eyes were sapphire blue, and they reminded me of someone, but I couldn’t figure out who. However, a more beautiful woman you could not have imagined.

Not only was Felicity an incredible woman, but she had a spirit that attracted millions. No man could help but be tempted…

It’s been more than a year and I’m still not over it

This is gonna be an open letter to myself, but maybe someone out there feels the same. I would like to reassure you we are not alone.

It’s been more than a year, and you still appear in my dreams, or nightmares, I must say.

It’s been more than a year, and I still feel like writing you a message whenever I see something funny that I know you would enjoy.

It’s been more than a year and my memories always bring me back to you.

It’s been more than a year and I still tear up whenever I listen…

And your childhood memories are the key to this

Before we start, let me tell you who I am to be talking about life’s purpose: I’m a certified yoga teacher, and these learnings have not only been things I’ve experienced in my own life through living abroad, changing careers, and the most magnificent heartbreak story that ended in me going to India for a month (I know, what a cliché), but they have also been things I’ve learned by reading three incredible texts: the yoga sutras, Eckhart Tolle’s Power of Now and Erich Fromm’s Escape from Freedom.

Now, let’s get to the matter of it all: you are becoming…

Society is projecting its deepest truth.

We can all see and feel how the political and social climate has been changing lately. Something we think is new and recent but has been slowly happening for many decades now.

Whether it has been planned or is just the natural course of humanity, I don’t know. But as an observer, I feel all the problems we are now facing are rooted in one thing: most of society is unhappy.

I don’t mean that poor people are unhappy because they don’t have a better car or home. I don’t mean that homosexuals are unhappy because they are not able…

Who really wants a perfect life?

Photo by Jonathan Hoxmark on Unsplash

New year came and went. And we all know a few people have already started on some wild resolutions.

All of them on track to make them the ‘perfect’ human. Perfect body, perfect job, perfect partner, perfect family, perfect brain, perfect house, perfect pet, perfect, perfect, perfect, pfffft!

Really? Do we want perfection in our life? Do we want to miss the opportunity of learning things we never even thought we would have?

Because let me tell you, a perfect life is a life lived following a script.

And not even your own script, but a script written by the…

A trendy attitude that is now ruining my life

We’ve all done it. Looking at a task in front of us, and deciding to do something else because there are million excuses flying off of our head: ‘I don’t have time for this’ ‘I won’t be able to focus’ ‘I better just finish this one little thing before starting this’ ‘tomorrow is a better day’ and so on.

They all sound good, and definitely hide what the real problem is.

Because procrastination is not about being lazy. Is not about us really having to do other stuff. Is not about the excuses we say. …

Just a few of my Yoga Instagram’s posts which I think are worth sharing, not the images, but the words.

I remember when I taught my first yoga class.

I kept on looking at peoples faces and trying to smile and waiting for a smile back.

Everytime they didn’t look at me or just weren’t smiling a tiny voice in my head would say ‘I knew it, this sucks, they are not enjoying this, why did I even try, daaamn I just want this to be over nowww’

But when getting their feedback they had genuinely liked the class (of course I had things to improve like not pacing from side to side of the room a…

Or better yet, let it find you

It’s funny how we are all just bags of liquids, muscles, and bones trying to live a happy life.

Deep down we all want the exact same things: to feel loved, respected, secure, and free.

Yet, we want that in many different ways.

Some want to have the freedom to be their own bosses, others want to have the freedom of living in the middle of nowhere with little or no contact with society, others want the freedom of a steady job and no pressure or a high-stress environment.

We are all the same, but different.

Nonetheless, there are people…

What it takes to see the world as it really is

Photo by Christopher Burns on Unsplash

The world has turned into a horrible hell-looking place.

So apocalyptic. Burning and full of death.

I go to work, but I don’t see the point.

I see the walking dead on the streets. The people in the shops look more like ghosts than actual people. And all the animals are like raging beasts trying to bit off a part of my flesh.

I remember it didn’t use to be like this. And I’ve always wondered what happened, maybe a virus? I can’t ask anyone because people are so selfish nowadays and I’m afraid. Afraid of what they might tell…
